Arts Network Sutton in partnership with Sutton Council’s Cultural Services, are excited to bring you this year’s Sutton Youth Art Exhibition. An annual exhibition which aims to celebrate the wealth of artistic talent found amongst the borough’s younger generation.

We are delighted to receive such a huge artistic response to this year’s call for work. Submissions came from thirteen of the Borough’s secondary schools, and we estimate it took over 65 hours to hang and label all the work. Thanks to Siobhan Kneale, Carole Shaw, Sarah Orru, and Jane Howard for their help in making the show look as good as it does.

We would like to congratulate all the young artists participating this year; the artistic and cultural future of the borough is bright. We would also like to say a huge thank you to all the schools, teachers, and art technicians who supported us in staging the exhibition. Thanks also go to the entire Sutton Central Library team for their help.

The show is in The Gallery on the 2nd floor of Sutton Central Library, open during Library hours from 9th April 2022 to 30th April 2022. Have you seen the show yet? What’s your favourite artwork? Take part in this year’s public vote and send your nominations to [email protected] before 5pm on Tuesday 20th April. Tell us your name, the artists’s name, and the title of the artwork. We’ll count the votes and announce the winner at the awards ceremony on Thursday 21st April.
