Why not support your local arts charity?
ANS is a registered charity that promotes, champions, nurtures and acts as a voice for the diverse range of arts in the London Borough of Sutton. It aims to increase arts activities in the Borough and to engage more local people in the arts. But we need your help to achieve this.
As a small charity we make our money go a long way. Our volunteers run the network and its events, manage and give grants to other arts organisations, and deliver the annual Youth Arts Exhibition. If you want to see more events like The Wallington Music Festival or CAOS, keep encouraging the Borough’s young talent, or even want to help local artists develop their creative practice, then please make a donation.
ANS currently receives £9,000 per year from the local authority. In 2017, we were lucky to get Arts Council England funding of just under £15,000 which paid for this new website, for training events for our members and for running a week of summer holiday youth workshops. But future funding is not guaranteed and it will never cover core costs.
For ANS to carry on delivering these services to the local community we need your help. Why not volunteer your time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or donate now?
