Please join us next week Thursday 18th at the Vellum Mill Gallery as a way for Liz Andrews and myself (Andy Copps) to thank our wonderful creative community.

Emma and Stuart who manage the gallery are not charging for us to use the space and we are not charging for tickets. So it is a FREE event for the Carshalton Artists Community and Friends.

Space is limited so please use this link to get your tickets as soon as possible.

‘The Nightingale and Other Birds’ is a performance set including 2 versions of The Nightingale, beautiful live cello music from Liz, a little piece of poetry and the story of Beatrice Harrison who was famously recorded in 1924 by the BBC outside (a first for the BBC) playing her cello while the Nightingale sang in a tree in her garden.

If you would like to, you are welcome to bring some paper and pens and pencils to sketch whatever you like but in particular the stories that you see. (Please no easels).

You are also welcome to bring a cushion should you feel like sitting on the floor. You are also welcome to bring your own drinks along.

If you have never experienced performance storytelling or heard Liz play cello, then please do try come along and please do let your friends know. If you have heard us before, we hope to see you again.

Thank you for all your support and please share this invitation!
