Artist and Illustrator Sandy Leong is thrilled to be collaborating once again with the incredibly talented musician Sze Ying Chan for a multimedia performance with the London Symphony Orchestra this May 2025.
Love in a Fallen City is a multimedia performance featuring original live music, live drawing, and animation. Inspired by five essays from Xiao Si’s Hong Kong Stories, it explores the emotional bond between Hong Kong and its people. Through expressive visuals and original Chinese characters, the piece delves into themes of memory, loss, and resilience. It captures a persistent spirit amidst change. This is a story of a love so deep and complex, it becomes the very soul of a city.
