Celebrating 10 Years of Carshalton Artists Open Studios
This year marks a special milestone for Carshalton Artists Open Studios (CAOS) as it celebrates 10 years of creativity, community and artistic excellence.
Over the past decade, CAOS has grown into one of South London’s most popular and successful arts events, giving visitors a unique opportunity to step inside artists’ homes, studios and creative spaces, meet the makers, and discover the stories behind their work.
For its tenth anniversary, CAOS 2026 will feature almost 80 artists across 29 locations throughout Carshalton, from the historic village and The Wrythe to Carshalton Beeches and Oaks Park. Visitors can explore a rich variety of artistic practices including painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, textiles, illustration, photography and mixed media.
Taking place over two weekends, 27–28 June and 4–5 July, Open Studios offers a welcoming and accessible way to experience the remarkable breadth of creative talent within our local community.
Arts Network Sutton is proud to support and celebrate the artists who make CAOS such a vibrant part of the borough’s cultural life. As many participating artists are ANS members, the event reflects our shared commitment to championing creativity, fostering connections and making the arts accessible to all.
