Join us in the wonderful surroundings of The Sun Pub on North Street, for an evening of art, conversation, and creativity.
Doug Shaw will be your artist in residence and will be on hand to provide any assistance you might need. We will work with ink, paint, drawing pens, and other materials, and you will see how simple techniques can create dramatic effects. We’re calling this session a ‘Creature Feature’ and you are invited to think about creatures and animals real and imagined, drawn painted, and even sculpted! Maybe your favourite pet could be your chosen subject?
For this session we will have some air drying clay on hand – so if you fancy working in 3D – this is the perfect opportunity. There will be the option of a follow along drawing session available, if anyone wants to join in, and as always – you should feel free to do your own thing if you prefer.
Tickets are just £17 and include all materials. If you want to bring a friend, there are a few special tickets available which admit two people for a total of £30. Grab a ticket, buy a drink, and we shall make some amazing art together.
