About
THE CHRISTOPHER SINGERS are a registered charity and were formed in 1991 by John Steel their Music Director. They are a group of dedicated people who love to sing. Some of whom have been with The Company since its formation although new voices are always welcome to join the group. They have two objectives….one to have fun and entertain and two to raise money for charitable organisations and institutions. To date, over £50,000 has been raised, the main beneficiary being The Oak Centre for Children and Young People, The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton, Surrey.

In June 2014 following their success they were asked by The Mayor to sing as Award Winners at Arts Network Sutton Launch Party. Well….who could resist ANS.
Arts Network Sutton have been a big part of our recent journey. On 25th March 2017 Sutton Town Twinning Association and Arts Network Sutton invited the Company to entertain guests from Sutton’s Twin Towns at their annual dinner. A beautiful medley of favourite songs were performed to a very appreciative audience. What a splendid evening!
For the past 2 years in December The Company has sung Christmas Songs and Carols from The Radio Marsden stage at Cheam Christmas Fair. This is a superb opportunity to promote The Christopher Singers forthcoming Pantomimes.
If you would like The Christopher Singers to perform at your function or if you are interested in joining the group please contact John Steel by email at [email protected].
