Sutton is bidding to be Borough of Culture in 2023 and they’re looking for your support!
The Borough of Culture is a programme run by the Mayor of London to promote culture across the capital. Winning this would mean £1.35m worth of funding to devote to Sutton’s culture, in 2023 and beyond.
With your support, this award will enable Sutton to build on its cultural strengths, including local communities, community arts, and heritage. Help put culture to the heart of the borough and make culture matter for everyone of all ages and from all backgrounds.
“Arts Network Sutton are delighted that Sutton Borough Council are bidding to become the London Borough of Culture for 2023. We’re fully behind this initiative to expand the cultural offer in the borough as having just been declared London’s Best Borough For Families by The Spectator magazine, adding even more arts and culture can only make Sutton an even better borough to live in.”
Alan Fitter, Arts Network Sutton Chair
